The best Dr parish is well understood Im going to miss him his world of knowledge and caring like no other

I keep a running log of my blood pressure and provide this to the doctor via email. It appears that he make NO effort to review that log or read the emails that are sent. None.

Pay more attention to the people coming in dealing with pain issues

Dr. Parish always shows compassion and never rushed through my appointments. Im sad to see him go

Needed to see this doctor for a new patient visit to get estblished and a prescription for my back and shoulder. He refused to prescribe and was a bit upset that I was scheduled to see HIM because he is leaving the practice soon.

The provider seemed knowledgeable, but as I previously stated...we had a brief conversation.

Dr. Parish is a physician I would not see again. He refuses to deal with the whole patient. He was dismissive and his advice was something a third grader could have given me. Overall, I was completely unsatisfied with the interaction and would never come back to him.

Very good experience

Dr. Parish comes across as if it is an inconvenience to see patients and discuss what is important to them. I dont feel like he listened to my concerns. Maybe he is better suited for research where he doesnt have to interact with people.

Dr. Parish was one of the worst physicians I have seen. No compassionate care, no bedside manner. He dismissed my concerns. I was there to establish a primary care in a new city. He basically told me to follow up with prescribing physicians, which isnt possible as I no longer live local to those other doctors. But now wish I did after this experience.

Seems to be a lack of communication. There are things asked of me to do that my care provider never informed of. He also will stop prescriptions without letting me know. During visits, he will ask me why Im taking a certain amount of a prescription drug when we discussed, at the prior visit, to take that amount.

Very good experience. Dr Parish gave me the time to talk about my health and what the future will look like continuing on my current path.

Dr. Parrish was condescending and was clearly not listening to my history or self treatment up to my visit. He suggested I try several different things to reduce the pain - all of which I had already told him I was already doing with no results. He also said the level of pain I was experiencing, which I had just told him was completely out of the ordinary for me, was par for the course with the condition that I have had since birth.

I felt like I had to pull teeth to get my doctor to communicate with me. It was as if I was burdening him with my presence. This was an initial visit to establish myself as a patient, but he never asked about my health, nor wanted to see any previous history. All he asked was what do you want today. I even had a minor concern, but he didnt want to address it. The practice was very good, but the doctor is lacking.

Always great service

Doctor did not listen to my attempt to provide information regarding a congenital heart condition I have. Doctor gave me a cardiologist he wanted me to see however I am followed my the adult congenital clinic which I tried to explain.

This same problem and pattern of his behavior has occurred with EVERY visit with this Dr since I started with him. I basically Do NOT trust or respect him.

The entire staff did very well. I enjoy having Dr Parish as my primary doctor.

Good: he seemed knowledgeable about my medical records and about medical facts in general. He followed up promptly after my blood work results were in. Bad: very difficult to understand when he explained things. He was a bit condescending. He didnt take some of my concerns seriously (he was wrong) - again condescending.

He was condescending and did not answer my questions. He stated we could not talk about my immediate health concerns because this was a routine check up and hed have to charge me for a separate visit. He did not answer my questions. I felt judged and uncomfortable leaving and will definitely not come back. I am a very healthy individual so this was just an overall terrible experience. He was not trustworthy or understanding at all and it was not the experience you want with your healthcare provider.

I did not think that the doctor cared about my me or my health.

Dr. Parrish pushed my future care to his PA, not the DO.

I did not appreciate how Dr. Parrish questioned how I knew my temperature (of course I have an at home thermometer) and that he said 99.6 F is a normal temperature (it is more than a degree higher than my normal of 97.8 F). I also did not appreciate that I was at first denied a strep test because strep is not common in adults but I was presenting with a sore throat and had had a fever overnight. While I was there I also had a question about one of my toenails that has some yellow-y discoloration, and I wanted him to examine it. He did not do this, he looked at it from across the room while standing up (he was more than 6 feet away and Im sure he couldnt see my toe in detail) and told me that its fine as long as it doesnt hurt. This is not the first time that Ive felt that he doesnt listen to my concerns, so I will not be coming back to this practice unless I absolutely have to. I actually booked an appointment with my former provider in my hometown so that when I go back to visit I can see her (about the toenail).

Dr Parish is very professional. He takes all the time you need and explains your plan of care.

Always very concerned and helpful

I truly felt that he didnt care to hear the reason or rhyme to my current presenting depression and anxiety. He heard the parts he needed to make his recommendation but its been years of this lack of care.

My healthcare provider also listens to what I have to say and provide me with the best advice I have for my condition. Still a work in progress.

All my Doctor wanted to do was refer me. He had no insight to any issues my body was going through. I feel Like I could have looked everything up on the internet and received the same input. He really is not a good Doctor.

Would not see this provider again. I work in healthcare and was offended by his attitude toward a patient.

Critical about not completing a routine screening that I requested at least visit even when I explained reasons.

Dr. Parish is an excellent physician who listens and cares. A referral for imaging was needed for my diagnosis. Knowing that I was very worried he made the referral stat which allowed me peace of mind once the test was completed.

I was unimpressed with the bedside manor of the physician I saw- he made me feel like he did not believe me and I was not bringing valid information, I cried after my visit because of how belittled I felt.

Issue arosed about a prescription being sent to a Doctor who the PCP referred me.

Dr Parish was arrogant, condescending, disrespectful. I was interested in discussing hormone replacement therapy to help me with osteoporosis but he was dismissive, saying there were many drugs to consider. He also refused to continue a prescription I have been taking for 30 years with good results - his view of the science is different from every other MD I have ever seen, including my most recent PCP who moved out of state. Parish was the worst doctor I have ever experienced in my 57 years. Really insulting and unwilling to listen to me or to respect my preferences about my own heath care (I am an educated female - perhaps he is sexist/ageist). I cant convey strongly enough how terrible this man was and I asked to switch PCP immediately.

My care provider works with me. To try to find the right solution for the problem I have.

Attentive, knowledgeable, concerned.

I will be seeking out a new doctor as I felt belittled, ridiculed, and basically called a liar. I needed some information that I realized after the first few minutes of discussing things that I was not going to get. Therefore, I just shut up and let him talk down to me.

Professional

I actually felt comfortable being there. PTSD level was low.

He didnt ask me about any of my current health issues. He was concerned about the meds I was taking for anxiety and depression. He referred me to a psychiatrist. He checked my heart and lungs.

Dr. Parish was very attentive with my recent healthcare problems. He listened to my questions and had reasonable answers we could build on.

I Love the staff at that Baycare office. I have never been dissatisfied with my providers there-including PAs and ARNPs. However Dr. Parish just did not seem to do anything for me-he just reminded me that I had an appointment with Dr. Hernandez (my usual PCP) the following week. He did order a muscle relaxer for my severely cramping legs but that did not help me figure out what is causing this sudden extreme problem that is keeping me up all night lately.
